Educated In America: Voices From A Broken System Written by illuminatedcitiesproject The event featured an interactive mural to which all attendees could contribute. We brought in a panel comprised of students and educators alike to speak about their experiences. One of the key components of the event was hearing the stories of youth from Detroit, Chicago and the South Bronx. We filled the venue with prints of murals and other artwork done by youth in segregated areas of America. We were delighted to have The July Edition performing at our event. Our team at ICP would like to thank The Nathan Cummings Foundation for providing us with such a wonderful space for our event. Here we can see the beautiful view from the 14th floor.
